AOA Basketball Meetings start on October 3, 2019 at York High School
Check-in begins at 6:45 p.m. and will run until 7:25 p.m. prior to each meeting. The first presentations begin at 7:30 p.m. sharp. Each meeting will conclude with a guest assignor and a social at a nearby establishment.

Topics and presenters will be posted before each week’s meeting. Participants that attend a minimum of four meetings will be eligible for IHSA Level 1 Clinic Credit.
The Athletic Officials Association trains high school officials in the sports of Baseball, Basketball, Football, and Softball. With over 400 members, it was established in Illinois in 1917 and is a member of the Illinois High School Association. Meetings are held just west and southwest of Chicago serving officials who live in Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, and Will Counties. Over its proud history the AOA has had many members assigned to Illinois State Championship games as well as those who moved up to college and professional officiating.
The Mission of the Athletic Official Association (AOA) is to assist members in becoming better athletic officials. The AOA will accomplish this goal through clarification and interpretation of rules and promoting efficient and standard officiating techniques in football, basketball, baseball and softball.
