Ken refereed basketball for more than fifty years at the high school, collegiate and professional levels. Falkner officiated in the NBA from 1976-1979. Ken worked Division I college ball in the Big Ten, Metro and Midwest Collegiate Conferences. Falkner was vice-president of the AOA basketball division from 1974-1976. Ken was inducted into the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association hall of Fame as an official in 2019.
