Schwind served the AOA as its Chairman of the Board of Directors from 1983-1986 and was the group’s Treasurer from 1976-1982. He was President of the AOA football division from 1974-1976 and vice-president from 1971-1973. Harold officiated high school football games for 31 years and has worked the chains on the sidelines for the Chicago Bears for more than 20 years. Schwind was the recipient of the Abe Glick Award in 1987.
