Alstadt umpired the IHSA state championship title game on three occasions.  He worked first base for the 2004 Class A title game; officiated first base for the 2005 Class AA championship; and was behind the plate for the 2008 Class 4A title tilt.   Dave served as a certified clinician in the sport of baseball with the IHSA.  He was the Fox Valley Blues Umpire of the Year in 2003 and the NFOA Umpire of the Year in 2007.  Alstadt served the AOA as Baseball Division President from 2003-2007.
