Graber is an eight-time state finals official. Chuck umpired the IHSA state baseball title game in 1994, 1995 and 1997 – working behind the plate in his final appearance. He also officiated the IHSA state football title game in 2001, 2002, 2006, 2009 and 2012. He served the IHSA as football division President in 1996 and 1997; and was the division vice-president from 1993 to 1995. Chuck won the Bob Udell Illinois High School Baseball Coaches Association’s Umpire of the Year Award in 2008.
