About the AOA
We've been helping provide quality football officials, basketball officials, softball and baseball umpires to Northern Illinois schools since 1919!
The Mission of the Athletic Official Association (AOA) is to assist members in becoming better athletic officials. The AOA will accomplish this goal by promoting efficient and standard officiating techniques in football, basketball, baseball and softball. Each member will be involved in the following :
- Rules Knowledge
- Instructional Meetings
- Cooperation with Coaches and School Administrators
- Supporting IACAO (Inter-Association Council of Athletic Officials)
- Promote high standards of sportsmanship in all athletic activities
